Recap of the last 48 hours
In the past 48 hours I have:
A.) Been in a pretty major car accident. My friends car (the one I was riding in, passenger side, right where the impact was) is likely totaled, as is the car that hit us. My friend and I are fine (amazingly).
B.) Completely randomly ran into Tiffany at BlackFinn on Friday night - the first time I have ever been legitimately recognized from the internet. Totally impressed that she had the stones to walk over and say “hey are you that guy from Tumblr?”. Also, she drinks like a champ - vodka on the rocks with a lime.
C.) Watched my little brother win the state lacrosse championship in overtime (9-8) on Saturday. He scored twice and made the first-team all state. Should help his case pretty strongly for being recruited to play lacrosse for Brown (he’s been getting hand written letters from the coach).
D.) Headed out now to a friends bachelor party - everyone there knows him from back home (Australia) and is rocking a pretty serious accent. And apparently they’re quite the handful. Find us at Forum later in the night…
So I initially felt creepy, but this was negated by (a) thinking the worst case scenario would have been “wtf is Tumblr?” and (b) the aforementioned imbibing. Turned out not being creepy — yay internet.
(P.S. It’s true: I drink like a champ. Bill, is this your public declaration of forfeitting the competition, knowing you would lose and all?)
